Eliza Woloson - Eliza is the Executive Director of Global Education Fund (GEF). In 1998, after working as an anthropologist in Asia and witnessing the scarcity of books available to children, she founded GEF. Since its creation, Eliza has orchestrated the successful establishment of fifty-three literacy centers for orphanages and schools in twenty-one countries. She received a Masters degree in Anthropology from University of Colorado, Denver.
Todd Woloson - Todd serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and is the Co-Founder and CEO of IZZE, a soft drink company based in Boulder, Colorado. Winner of the Rocky Mountain Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2003, Todd has been an instrumental member of the board from the creation of the organization. He has a J.D. from the University of Denver.
Corbin Day - Corbin is a Venture Capitalist based in New York City and is currently involved in filmmaking endeavors. He has served on the Board since its inception in 1998. He has his MBA from the University of Denver.
Julie Maier - Julie has extensive experience in strategic planning and financial management, primarily as the former Director of Finance for a national childcare provider, Children's World Learning Centers. Currently, Julie is the Director of Planning and Analysis for Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy in Boulder, CO and is co-founder of the Boulder Children's Museum. She received her MBA from Harvard University.
David MacKenzie - Owner and operator of the Fox Theater in Boulder for the last thirteen years, David has extensive business experience in Colorado and Latin America.
Liz Berry - Liz is the Program Director for GEF and has played a critical role in the implementation of our projects in Sri Lanka and Kenya. She was the Program Director for New American Schools, a major education reform non-profit organization. She was also a consultant to multinational corporations for William Kent International, an international strategy consulting firm. She received an MBA from Yale University.
Claire Joyce - Claire Joyce - Claire was a consultant with Andersen Consulting, now Accenture and later a sales executive with IBM. She is a former board member of Playspace Children's Museum in Raleigh, North Carolina, President of the Parents Association at Sacred Heart of Jesus and is currently on the Guild of Community Food Share in Boulder. She has a BA in History and Computer Science.
Genny Horning - Genny has worked for large national nonprofits including The National Safe Kids Campaign and Reading is Fundamental. She also worked internationally for Youth World International in Quito, Ecuador. She received a Masters in Public Health at University of South Carolina.

book distributors donate thousands of books a year.
Employees from multinational corporations volunteer by hosting the storytelling hour, tutoring, reading, teaching spelling and organizing book discussions.
Local businesses set up book drops for employees to donate used children's books.
Interns and volunteers from the
University of Colorado-Boulder prioritize orphanages needing our help, solicit book donations, write grants, pack books, gain multinational support, build the literacy centers or live for months in developing countries to get the centers up and running.
Volunteers gather monthly to pack children's books at b.logistics (Boulder, Colorado) that are sent to children living in orphanages and remote villages around the world.
